Amy Milne

Meet Amy Milne, proud entrepreneur, and Chief Experience Officer at Bea & Co. A passionate and award-winning event creator, planner, designer, and producer with over two decades in the biz, she is the gal you need as your event planning bestie. Not only is she the creative genius behind many of Canada’s largest and most successful fundraising events raising into the millions through her sister company, Beyond Inc., but she is also well-known in the South Georgian Bay Area for her incredible event planning and design for both the corporate and private sector; the Bea Bar - a mobile beverage trailer and the incredible, one of a kind luxe picnics and balloons that surpass anything you’ve ever experienced.
Epic events and unforgettable experiences are the fuel that keeps Amy’s fiery personality and creativity burning. When she is not planning life’s next celebration, you can find her hosting the wildly successful podcast, Real Talk for the Non-Profit Event Pro, or sipping on one of her favourite local beers with her high school sweetheart Eric. She is also a proud mom to Spencer and Jack, a dog mom to Bella, and a cat host to Jake, the local lion king. Her genuine warmth and connection to friends and family are at the core of who she is, leaving an indelible mark on any good human fortunate to cross her path.
Lisa Cohen
Chief Copywriter & Wordsmith

Lisa's non-linear career started out in the banking sector, took a left turn into non-profit event planning and has meandered through the world of marketing & communications. She lends her skills to Bea & Co. as the go-to copywriter and wordsmith. She has a knack for taking other people's words and making them flow in just the right way. When she's not wordsmithing, Lisa is coaching women through their health esteem journey and helping them reach their fitness & nutrition goals. She loves staying active outdoors with her husband & two kids, and putting her body to the test with regular sauna & cold plunge sessions. Other things that bring her joy are hot cups of tea, podcasts, watching sports and settling into a good puzzle.
Laura Garbutt
Social Media Maven

Though she may fall into the millennial category, Laura's weekly screen time and love of all things social media could fool even the best of us (she thinks she's still Gen Z some days). Passionate hospitality leader turned marketing & communications pro, Laura is at the helm of Bea & Co.'s social accounts. When she finally does set that phone down and unwind, you'll find her road tripping to anywhere, always in search of that next epic hike or area of solitude. She loves to travel (off the beaten path!), try new recipes, and savour that first sip of espresso adrenaline in the mornings.
Flor
Virtual Event Assistant

Flor has a long history in the event planning business, with 19 years of experience working all types of social events - small to large and everything in between! A multitasking champion, Flor works behind the scenes at Bea & Co. as our virtual event assistant extraordinaire. She likes to keep busy, so you can also find her lending her skills as an event coordinator, or you may run into her at a local farmer's market selling her unique, hand-poured candles. In her spare time, Flor can often be found planning her next big trip, or just hanging out with her three adorable dogs - Manchas, Bella and Taco.
While every member of our staff is a winner in our books, we couldn't be more proud that others think so too. Hats off to our award-winning team!
